Design it.

Walking into a frame shop can seem overwhelming. So many framing choices and how much is this going to cost me. We get that. Here at Framemakers we help you narrow down your options, keeping your budget in mind. It all begins with a conversation. We want to hear about the item you brought in for framing. What did you have in mind as far as design and price? After a short conversation we will show you different applications that will enhance your piece and more importantly protect it. We want everyone to feel at home when they come to Framemakers. There are no high pressure sale tactics and absolutely no obligation to place your order. We offer quality work at a very affordable price. We purchase from local vendors when the price is right eliminating all shipping cost. We pass these savings on to you, our customers. Our prices beat any frame shops around. Especially the big box chains. So bring in any quotes from other shops and we’ll beat it. If you want to come in and just talk about framing or art then that’s cool too.

  • Cut it.

We select your moulding, inspect it and cut it to size. If you are in a hurry and in need of same day framing we can choose from our readymade selection.

  • Join it.

After cutting your frame to size we join your moulding together using a cassese underpinner. We only use v-nails and wood glue in the joining process. No plastic plugs and we do not carry or cut plastic frames.

  • Frame it.

Once your mats are cut or canvases are stretched we then assembly your frame and items together. We use conservation materials in our process to ensure you items are safe and preserved forever. Pieces are wired and ready to hang. We provide 2 hangers with every piece.

  • Canvas stretching

We offer canvas stretching for any size. If you recently purchased a canvas on vacation or online and now it’s rolled up in a tube, we can help. Bring your piece in and we can go over some stretching options so you can hang your new art and enjoy it.

  • Glazing and mirrors

There are a few options when it comes to glass for your project. We will help you in choosing the right glazing for your piece. We’ll go over the differences in protection and cost. Custom mirrors are also available through Framemakers. Beveled or unbeveled anysize.
