Who We Are

Framemakers is a family owned and operated frame shop and art gallery. Carey and Bekah Watson have over 40 years combined experience in the picture framing and art industry. Carey began his career in framing at one of Atlanta’s largest contemporary art & framing galleries in the early 90s. During his tenure there, he not only became a skilled framer but a well established artist. He and his wife Bekah went on to own and operate their own art & framing gallery for more than 10 years in midtown Atlanta. Carey continued to hone his skills and show his art while Bekah focused on design as well as art and client relations.

In 2021 the couple realized their dream of opening a shop close to home in Winder, Ga. Carey’s art is showcased among other regional artisans. They are the proud parents of adult twin sons and one very spoiled golden retriever Molly. Stop by and you are sure to meet her! When not at the shop or in their home studio, Carey and Bekah enjoy being outdoors hiking trails or kayaking at the local lakes.
